What happend to the No1 Sun Engine?

أول محطة رفع طاقة شمسية في العالم والتي إفتتحت عام ١٩١٣ واستمر تشغيلها لفترة أقل من عام، اختفت في دروب التاريخ. والآن تغطي المبانى والرمال موقع المحطة في حي المعادي جنوبي القاهرة.

The world’s first industrial-size solar power plant, completed 1913 and in operation for less than a year, has disappeared from history. At present, sand and houses cover the former location in Maadi, south of Cairo.
